Telehandler and Wheel Loader Tyres

Grip and stability under heavy point loads, for telehandler and wheel loader.

Telehandler & wheel loader

Grip and stability for loading, stacking and manoeuvring

A telehandler or wheel loader works with heavy point loads: loading, stacking, lifting and manoeuvring in a small space. That demands tyres that hold grip, stay stable under a shifted centre of gravity and withstand intensive use on hard and sharp surfaces. The tyre determines how safely and quickly you can load, and how long the machine keeps working without downtime.

HBI Tyres & Wheels supplies tyres for telehandlers, wheel loaders and shovels that combine grip and stability with a robust construction. From radial patterns for comfort and speed to heavy duty sizes for the toughest work, we find the tyre that matches your machine and your job, from stock and as a complete tyre and wheel set.

HBI supplies telehandler and wheel loader tyres to construction, agriculture and industry. We know the load charts and the demands of intensive lifting and stacking, and therefore advise on the basis of your machine, your load and your surface. With Delcora, Bandenmarkt and EuroGrip we have a suitable, stable tyre for every application.

Stable under point load

Stable under point load

When lifting and stacking, the centre of gravity shifts forward. A sturdy construction and a wide footprint keep the machine stable, even with a full fork at height.

That means safer loading and stacking, with less risk of tipping under a heavy load.

  • Stable when lifting and stacking
  • Wide footprint for balance
  • Safe loading with a full fork

Robust for intensive use

Telehandlers and wheel loaders run long days on hard and sharp surfaces. Strong casings and thick sidewalls limit cuts and punctures, so the machine stays available longer.

Fewer unexpected stops means more work per day and lower cost per hour.

  • Strong casing against cuts
  • Thick sidewall against punctures
  • Long service life under intensive work
Robust for intensive use
Grip and traction on every surface

Grip and traction on every surface

From concrete floor to loose ground, good traction keeps the load under control and stops you spinning. Our patterns offer grip without damaging the surface unnecessarily.

Even wear keeps that grip at the right level for longer.

  • Strong traction while loading
  • Grip on concrete and loose ground
  • Even wear

Knowledge

What to look for in a telehandler or wheel loader tyre

On a telehandler or wheel loader the centre of gravity shifts forward and upward when lifting. The tyre has to absorb that shift stably, so look for ample load capacity on the front axle and a sturdy construction. Consult the load chart of your machine and choose a tyre that handles the maximum lifting capacity with margin.

The surface and the intensity determine the pattern and the compound. On hard, sharp surfaces such as concrete and rubble, a strong casing with a thick sidewall matters against cuts. If you work a lot on loose ground, traction weighs more heavily. A good tyre combines both without damaging the surface unnecessarily.

Radial or cross-ply is a trade-off between comfort and robustness. Radial tyres ride more comfortably and cooler at higher speeds and longer distances, while cross-ply or extra reinforced tyres are sometimes preferable under very heavy, static use. We will help you make the right choice based on your machine and your work.

Here too we supply the tyre on its own or as a complete tyre and wheel set. A wheel set to specification fits first time and saves fitting time. Give us your current size or machine type and our specialists will determine the tyre that stays stable under load and lasts a long time.

When it comes to maintenance, pay attention to the front axle, which takes the most punishment. Check the pressure regularly and inspect the sidewalls for cuts and impact damage from pallets, stones or rubble. A tyre that holds pressure loads more safely and lasts longer. Our specialists will help you determine the right pressure per application.

Frequently asked questions

Telehandler and Wheel Loader Tyres, answered briefly

Which tyre suits my telehandler or wheel loader?+
That depends on the machine weight, the maximum lifting capacity, the size and the surface. Enter your current size or machine type in the tyre finder and our specialists will determine the right tyre or wheel set.
Why is stability so important on a telehandler?+
When lifting and stacking, the centre of gravity shifts forward and upward. A tyre with a wide footprint and a sturdy construction keeps the machine stable and reduces the risk of tipping under a heavy load.
Are these tyres resistant to sharp surfaces?+
Yes. Our telehandler and wheel loader tyres have strong casings and thick sidewalls that limit cuts and punctures, so the machine stays available even on rubble and concrete.
Do you supply complete tyre and wheel sets?+
Certainly. We supply individual tyres and complete tyre and wheel sets built to specification, for fast fitting.
Are the sizes available from stock?+
The common sizes are held in stock and delivered quickly across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. For special sizes we agree the delivery time in advance.
Can I use the same tyre for my telehandler and wheel loader?+
Often yes, provided size, load capacity and rim match. Because both machines work with heavy point loads, the demands are comparable. Give both machines to our specialists and we will check whether a shared size is possible.
